At-Home Spa Rituals with Masks, Peels and Elixirs: adding the Khalm Skincare® experience at-home
It’s very important to take care of your skin even though you may be quarantined in your home. It can actually be a place where you unwind, de-stress, and even get some deep breaths in for the day. Although my skincare routine has suffered during quarantine, since the level of stress has risen a bit, I have started upping my product use for at-home care.
One of the things I have been doing regularly is masks and light peeling. I have very sensitive skin. I try to be as gentle as I can to my skin. Tatcha’s Violet radiance mask is great right before you start your day. It brightens while giving you a bit of vitamin C and it’s for all skin types. I put this on once a week, twice a week if my skin really needs that jolt. Then I lie down on my bed, pull my sheets over me, start some calm music, and wait for 15 minutes for the mask to do its magic.
As for light peeling, I turn to my 1% retinol at night, see what I mean by gentle. I use Vivier Retinol 1% night complex. I use this twice a week and it really cleans out a light layer of skin to reveal a brighter, clearer complexion. It’s highly recommended for my delicate skin. Another good gentle peel is from Goop Beauty called the Goop Glow. It is a very gentle formulation of 5% Glycolic acid. I do this once a week at bedtime. (Use these products a couple of days apart, never on the same day).
Lastly, to put the moisture back into my skin, I can’t get enough of Khalm Skincare® Overnight Oil Elixir. It is the most decadent oil to soothe the skin and bring back your luminosity. The elixir is made of Khalm Skincare® exclusive Oud Essential Oil, Prickly Pear (one of the most expensive & potent natural ingredients you can put on your skin) but also vitamin C extracts (I can’t get enough of this stuff). The aroma will pull you into another world. It has been transformational for my skin.
Well, I hope this gives you some insight into the products I use while I have been in quarantine. I hope this routine gives you a wellness boost.
